Adidas have opened their first Sydney concept store in Chatswood

Footwear giant adidas have finally brought their Originals Neighborhood concept store to Sydney after successful openings in Shanghai, London, Berlin, and Seoul, seeking to draw inspiration from the local community and youth culture. The concept is designed to flow seamlessly with the city it’s based in, so those heading along can expect a unique sneaker hub that stocks all the originals and latest releases including the Superstar and Yeezy Boost collections.

The store launched with an exhibition that featured collaborations with artist Will Cooke, photographer Cloudy Rhodes, and model Raenee Sydney, all of whom were shot by local photographer Lester Jones, all speaking to the project’s strong ties to Sydney’s streetwear consumers and the local community. The Neighbourhood element to the concept ensures adidas focus on remaining relevant to the location at hand, which is why them setting up in Sydney now brings a new perspective to the classic brand.

The adidas Originals Neighbourhood store is located in Westfield Chatswood (1 Anderson Street) on Level 5. Hours are Mon-Wed, Fri 9am-5:30pm; Thurs 9am-9pm; and Sat-Sun 9am-5pm.
